Construction Progress

On March 5, the tower crane that will lift materials to build the new inpatient facility was installed. This is a major step forward for The Promise Project!



The tower portion of the crane reaches a height greater than the Ocean City Water Tower and the crane foundation is equivalent to 123 patient beds lying next to each other and stacked. While perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing, crane installation marks significant movement forward in the construction process. The crane will do all the heavy lifting of key materials to bring the building to fruition.
